Karunkalikkulam Government Tamil Mixed School is a provincial Tamil-medium school in the Mamadu area of Sri Lanka’s Vavuniya District. Operating under the Vavuniya North Education Zone and Omanthai Educational Division, the school provides education from Grade 1 to Grade 11 for boys and girls. It serves children from Karunkalikkulam and the surrounding communities, supporting their academic progress, personal development and overall wellbeing. The school plays an important role in providing local children with opportunities to learn and develop their skills.
Support Our Schools provided gardening equipment worth LKR 34,800 to Karunkalikkulam Government Tamil Mixed School in Vavuniya. This completed project benefits students by giving the school tools for gardening activities and the upkeep of its grounds. The equipment can help pupils learn how to care for plants through practical experience. Gardening also gives them opportunities to work together, take responsibility and develop an interest in their surroundings. The donation supports the school’s efforts to make its outdoor space a useful place for learning.
